Liked the melodies and arps you've got going on in there, felt that for a psy trance song the kick could've done with smacking a bit harder.

cheers for the feedback man!!
yeah dude ive never made any tunes this 'large' before, was having issues balancing the low end, i think the punch of the kicks suffered under the duress of my efforts to make the bassline stand out more.. getting together with a friend this weekend to work on this and a few other tings.
champion dude, will definitely be focusing on getting more punch from the kicks. i think a subtle amount of compression might be just the ting.. thanks again!

No worries.

Would suggest looking at the EQ working between the bassline and kick before the compression though. Although you've mentioned punch...are you just using the one kick sample or layering? Could get some punch from somewhere else, layer it, then have as it with the subtractive EQing, maybe triggering it via sidechaining so that the specific frequency range on the bassline only drops when the kick hits.

yeah theres actually 3 or 4 kicks layered at the peak of the tune.. slowly building from 1 at the start.. i think ive raised the vol too much on the subby kick rather than the punchier/sharper one.. fml stuck at work and all i wanna do is go home and have a fiddle ;)
thanks for the tips man, im thinking sidechaining the kick to the bass is something i most definitely overlooked doing, i usually do it on most tracks to avoid phasing/frequency clashes..
