Theres too many talented MC's in the scene. I don't know many numbers, but the likes of Wretch 32's vocabulary and Ghetto's flow will absolutely murder any form of a vocalled kind of music.

i highly agree - wretch 32 is killin it

mate i swear where i live dubstep is bigger than grime still, in brighton grime's got nothing on dubstep and people don't even know what it is. people say shit like: "I liked that dubstep you played but the dubstep with lyrics and MCs - nah i don't like that"

I'm from Chorley in the north west and there is a ridiculous number of kids doing grime. Almost every badboy in the town has a myspace with four tracks on.

I deejayed at a clash night at Chorley community centre a few weeks ago and there mustve been a hundred kids down. most of em being aged between 9 and 16.

Some of them are good, others not so good but for me it's really encouraging to see kids who would never even have thought about music 4 or 5 years ago, making music on their computers and putting it up for anyone to hear.
