Hey guys,
I tried to do something new and kinda blend the sound of older Mount Kimbie & Blawan as well as some other influences. Gotta say I'm fairly happy with the outcome, as rare as that is haha.
Any kind of feedback would be appreciated, so let me know what you think(production & structure-wise especially).

Feels almost like two tunes juxtaposed together here - at the start you have the
very loosely programming beats with the Kimbie vibe, then the latter half has more of that Karenn style distorted kick. Love the sounds here, introducing sample palette and the tune has real identity. Good stuff

Yeah, I know what you mean and you're probably right, perhaps I should've made two tracks out of it, but on the other hand I kinda like the idea of taking the tune into a totally different direction than as it starts out. Still, the execution could've been smoother maybe haha I'm not sure

Had another listen, and I'd agree with this. The transition between the two elements is a little on the jarring side, like you can almost pinpoint the moment in the tune where the style switches. Maybe incorporate the elements a bit more on either side of the switch so it's less stop/start.
