Need some critical listening for this mixdown.

I have a tune I am about to send out for mastering, so I would like to ask for advice here based on a previous tune I have linked below where I fear I may be making the same mistake.
Basically I think I keep the subs a bit too loud, and I am thinking in this case the sub sounded too boomy when I got the master back. It sounds fine when I crank it here at home with the premaster but I think the end result came out a bit overkill and I would place the blame on myself for my mixdown before I would blame the mastering engineer. Curious if you guys have any general rules of thumb as to where your sub hits db-wise in relation to the other sounds in your mixdown. Especially with consideration toward what the mastering engineer will be doing later.
Here is what the tune sounded like when it came back from mastering.
