Mine also lives in another country but I'll be going out there.

Borders are the perfect solution for girlfriends, I always find.

i had 2 girlfriends.... the first we broke up almost immidiatly ... cause she didnt rly understand my passion and thats music. and the 2nd knew what i liked and shit. She was always excited to hear something new. It could work inspiring but it can also form as a writersblock

To be fair, mine sings like a pro and is no stranger to weird electronic music. Not so into dubstep though...

fact is making music is a loner's occupation

can't concentrate on programming synths when your missus is rattling on about her mates/tv/going out for dinner and blah blah blah

been living with mine for two years now and my music stuff gets done between 6pm (when i get back form work) and 7.30 (when she gets back from work)

all the guilt trip biznizz of sitting on your own with a pair of headphones and a laptop grinds you down!!

i think its a home musician with live-in-missus's eternal battle

make music or have sex.........

ideally one week a bit more of one, next week more of the other... unfortunately dont work like that!

I have given up on realtionships in order to make the best music I can.

it's one or the other, and in most cases, the relationship isnt going to work out.

Chicks dig dj / producers, so you are safe in that dept.

My synth and my turntables are my true love. Never cheated on me

oh yeah...

if you get lonely...

you might wanna get a cat.

I live with mine.
I found it was too much to have a job, a girlfriend, do some djing + computer music + graphic design so I had to choose.
I've now 35 hours more per week for music and stuff :D

Oh and btw, before living with your girlfriend make sure she can handle the bass all day long.
Mine doesn't even mind some breakcore 8)

I have been married, divorced, and had 2 very long relationships all end BECAUSE i will not compromise my music production time. I can say that I don't see myself with a girlfriend for a looooooooooooong time.

werd. also going through a divorce.
No compromising! Only perfect 10s from here on in.

IMO (now) If a girl doesn't support and encourage your expression and art, then wtf - that's the same as not supporting and encouraging you on a personal level, as the beats we make are reflections of our selves.

Right now, I don't think I could see anyone that I didn't meet through dubstep somehow (!). That's pretty bad. haha. I'm going to be alone forever. Well, you know, swinging aside.
