How to put mixes onto CD

Whats happnin iam trying to put some mixes i have downloaded onto cd but there all too long for a 80 minute cd. Is there any software out there to cut them in half so they fit. Safe

audacity is free, works on both windows and mac.

fission is cheap and is well quick if you want to split it into tracks.

sountrack pro, adobe audition and soundforge are all professional but will have to pay.
