Trouble nailing down how this stab is done

That sorta slow attack quiet stab that's been interacting with the sub has been doin my head in. Taking any and all suggestions to wrap my head around this

Numerous ways you can do it.

If you have a synth with an adsr envelope for the volume and a seperate adsr envelope for the filter, then just set it up so you get a slow attack on either.
It's in the relation between the two attacks that you get the 'sweepy' thing going.

Another way is to have two copies of the same sound and then cut the first one of them in half and reverse the first half of that cut and then sequence the two accordingly. I think that's what's been done in the track there^. Because it sounds a bit tighter than how a common filter envelope sounds on it's own. In my experience, taking the 'scissor approach' where you sit and cut bits up manually, gives much finer control than any lfo or gate or whatever.

Or you could use a gate on a stab where you can set the threshold to either cut hi or cut low. In this case you would have a slow attack on the hicut and fast attack on the low cut.

actually i think i might be on to something, listened again and it almost sounds as if the lead is sidechained to the sub.
