How to record inside windows?

Please help fellas,
So i am using reason and want to record all mouvments and automation to another source,like virtual
tape recorder or something..i know i can exsport my waves,but some synth patches i want to record realtime,becose i dont understand after saving is all mouvments are gone,like matrix sorces and shit...So what my options here?

get audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)
set the input source to 'Stereo mix' and hit record

^what johney said but some computers don't let you do that cos theyre stupid,

i have to get a jack to jack lead from sound output to microphone and press record on audacity input source on 'microphone' instead.

yes, but i think it should work on XPs, not on some win7s... i can't do it on my computer and i have to do that ^ too.
