RunBMC - Olden Day (First Song Ever)

Post by RunBMC » Mon Jan 06, 2014 10:49 pm

Soundcloud

I'm looking for feedback, because this is my FIRST dubstep song to make and third song in general to ever make. So before I get serious on making a new song, I would like to hear about things I should improve from you guys cause y'all are much better than me so I want to learn :)

I suggest mastering it more. Everyone says "mastering takes forever and it's really hard" but I Master my tracks along the way so that it doesn't happen. It sounds like you're running through massive so that's good. Try to get each individual sound (drum, synth, etc.) into a different mixer channel and bring the levels down so that it doesn't clip. Sounds good though. Keep one working on music! I'll follow you on soundcloud!

Thanks! that helped a lot... Should I use Maximus to master? or what do you suggest I use to master?

I really like some parts of this. Some parts sound a little off beat though, I don't know if that's what you wanted or not.
