FL Studio in Live performances

Greetings everyone!

I was wondering if people here use FL in their livesets and if so - how? Do you play your project files and improvise on top of them or export projects as wavs and open a new "Live project" for the occasion? Or is there maybe some other way of doing it? I'm just trying to get some ideas for performances :4:

I'm sure all of the above. The new live mode is probably going to be the most useful. Are you on 11? I still haven't updated.

Actually 9, have no reason to update really even from there. Unless the livemode is reeally good then. Have to check things out. Thanks :)

Yes. 10 was a good change. Doesnt look like they did a ton in 11 if Im not mistaken. The funny thing is Ive been labouring under the delusion that I installed 11 turns out, nope.

Anyone had issues opening old project files after upgrading from 10 to11?

No problems opening 9/10 projects for me.

Live mode is alright, was fun once everything was set but I couldn't see myself really using it as a live tool. It's like clip triggering similar to Ableton. The other option would be Groove Machine, it's like a VST version of korg esx type thing. It was a bit clunky in the beta, but I had it mapped out over a Hercules RMX and Korg Padkontrol. Reallllly fun to jam on and screw around with but again, don't think I'd use it live. I'm sure if you dedicated time to either of these you could get something solid together.
