izotope trash 2 help

can someone help me how to use the trash properly cause ive been tweaking for months and it just sounds horrible lol 
just learn what does every function. I'd say try to learn about multi band distortion.
Low - > Saturate
Mids -> Distort
Highs -> Fuzz
Now the little line you see in the graph is the resulting wave.
It's like a wave shaper that you shape with your mouse.
The best thing is you can blend it in the original sound.
