Damn... one of my all time favourites. Really enjoyed The Master and Doubt recently, but I'm not sure I've ever seen him in a ropey movie. Incredible range as a character actor and hardly ever typecast... true original.

First saw him in Twister where he reminded me of Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory, one of the bands I listened to a bit when I was a kid.
Two memorable turns in both Boogie Nights and The Big Lebowski really put him on the map for me. I was never big on Capote, did love him in The Master though which was probably the last movie I saw him in.
RIP.
