At the office right now, so can't really get into this like i'd like... but I think this might actually be pretty simple.

I would use the Sample & Hold effect (I think this is basically a bitcrusher) in Massive in conjunction with a scream filter. Put an LFO on the cutoff and the Scream filter, then just jam the whole thing through the Sample & Hold. Experiment with different wavetables to get the right sound... obviously you can program the rest of the sound to taste, but that should be the nuts and bolts of it.

Again I have no way to test this right now, but it sounds roughly right in my head? Haha let me know if that works for ya :Q:

Are you talking about the midrange that runs through the track from the start? Cause that sounds like a fairly simple vowel sound that evolves over time, coupled with a low pass just opening and closing on a Sine LFO. :)

Don't need no Massive! Vowel sounds can be created by filters or FM synthesis too - swear there are tonnes of tutorials on this place for finding out how to do it :)

Operator is an FM synth within Ableton, no? Have a look for tuts on vowel sounds in Operator :)

EDIT
Done your work for you ;)

I know the rest of the tutorial sucks, but the intro minute or two where he's explaining how Operator works is useful :) Frankly it'd be better to have a search and find a decent tutorial for vowel sounds in Operator.

search for your typical 'Yoi' bass through ableton on youtube. I'll guarantee you'll find it. It's just a slow movement so whether or not a filter or lfo is used, use as slow movement and definitely bit crushed.

Cheers meng.

lightly bitcrush/lofi a lowpass filtered saw wave with a decent amount of resonance, then just modulate the cutoff. It sounds too simple but I guarantee you will get something close, I just made one myself to make sure and pretty much got it.

Thanks for the artist by the way, just made a Banks playlist and this shit is pretty tight.
