Alright mate

Listening to this and to be fair I'm not too hot on it, mainly because I don't like the melody but I appreciate your work. I think it's lacking in some important production areas though, like the snare needs to be more snappy try boosting freqs at around 2 - 3khz [If I remember correnctly], and because you have reverb on the snare it's blatently going to sound quieter and less sharp. So, what I usually do is record the reverb and then import the reverbed snare wav back in and layer it with the normal snare. But take out freqs below 500hz or there about [experiment]. The kick is lacking depth and punch, boost freqs around 45 - 60/65hz, but because your bass is hovering around these freqs as well the punch will be lost. So, what you should do is automate on a eq to take out those freqs on the bass whenever the kick is initiated. Also, you may want to boost some high freqs on the kick, once again experiment. The lfo'd bass may need a boost in mid to high freqs as well.

I think it would be important to read about compression as well, there's a very good tutorial here also check out a great EQ Tutorial.

Anyway, I think that will help you a great deal. I know it did for me.

I forgot to say, I think it's important to read about compression because it will help you get things to sound alot thicker and fatter.
