1. Temple
2. Sacrificial

"Annihilate Audio are on something of roll at the moment. Following the success of the Depth compilation album and the chart topping release by DyAD and LifeSines, they're now gearing up for ANA006, the Temple EP by Outbound.

With releases on Abyssal Audio, Iron Shirt Recordings, Imperial Audio and Austerity recordings and a track on the recent Annihilate Audio compilation, Nottingham stepper Outbound has been making a name for himself recently, so it's fitting that he's seeing a full solo release on the label.

Heavyweight bass, pounding drums and deep dark atmospherics are the order of the day. From the exotic and uplifting melodics of Temple, to the epic cinematic vibes on Sacrificial, and the deeply meditative Rebirth, this is an accomplished and coherent production, and a fine addition to the Annihilate discography." (OneFortyDeep Review)

"ANA005 is a 3-track release headed by the schizophrenic ‘Temple’. Hypnotic delays lace vocals and the floating indian-inspired melodic line. The fragile atmosphere is then sawn through comprehensively by the reese and finally shattered with monstrous snares. The melody re-emerges as the snares calm and then Outbound takes you back under again. The ideas within the tune push and pull on each other throughout and the argument is just as compelling with each iteration.

‘Sacrificial’ is a tune that seems to build and build – setting up atmospheres ahead of you and then galloping through them with rushed kicks and hurried percussion. As the tune goes on it becomes more and more cinematic and by the end is utterly epic in scale. I couldn’t name another 140 track that sounds like this – unique, musical and bracing.

The EP closes beautifully with ‘Rebirth’. There isn’t much I’d like to say about this track as I feel it speaks for itself quite clearly. It is introspective, it is hopeful. Most importantly it is heartfelt." (Siktir Musik Review)
