Fl Studio - Tips

I Have recently watched a video tutorial on Avicci and he copys different parts of patterns in piano roll hard to explain but i want to know how to select different parts of the pattern and cut and copy i can only seem to highlight whole chunks not separate sections hope this makes sense any guidence appriciated

Ah sorry I got totally confused by your posts. To multi-select random notes hold Control+Shift and click them!
