An interesting idea.
What do you think about ending your track with a build up? It leaves the listener with a big urge to replay the track.

Messing with arrangement should be done as often as possible IMO.mromgwtf wrote:What do you think about ending your track with a build up? It leaves the listener with a big urge to replay the track.
Re: An interesting idea.
I have done this a few times! I suppose its a crescendo?
Re: An interesting idea.
I've heard a few tracks do this, I like it.
Re: An interesting idea.
That's great as a listening piece, especially if the next track on your album starts with an impact and an emotional breakdown
but as far as playing the song in a set, that's not optimal. it could work, certainly... but it's easiest to spin a track with a proper outro
what are some tunes that do this? time to experiment

Clever emotional trick. A lot of producers like to build up there tension/resolution and repeat always ending on the resolution (seems almost a little too hollywood if that make sense?) This is a great way to mix things up.

Love it when artists change the arrangement.. throws me off, in the best of ways!
Re: An interesting idea.
I think that would sound like an epic drop off point if done right.
