EZ BASSIC Fam! Big ups to everyone who's been asking about what we've been upto lately. After a brief hibernation this winter we've been working hard to put the gears in motion to bring you something special. March 14th BASSIC Boston is bringing in the one and only DJ PLASTICIAN!!!!
Plastician aka Chris Reed is an original veteran who has been around since the beginnings of the Grime and Dubstep scenes. In 2003 his productions were being signed to Ammunition Promotions' Soulja, and ROAD imprints. Then just one year later he found himself becoming a resident of the legendary FWD night going on at Plastic People in London alongside dj's Hatcha, Youngsta, and Geeneus.
He was the first DJ to have a show on BBC Radio 1 back in 2006 on national radio that focused solely on Grime and Dubstep. He also runs Terrorhythm Recordings, which he founded in 2002. Specializing in the Dubstep and Grime genres, Plastician is one of the few DJ's to truly bridge the gap between the styles, but these days you never know what he's going to pull out the record bag!
