Never really been into producing this type of electronic music, but I had a go.

Thanks! Synth lead is generated from a nexus v2 patch, but I did some modification. I think it's called 'escape'

How do you like nexus? I feel like its the one synth i could be missing out on? Could you compare it to sylenth1?

In my own opinion, I think sylenth1 is great in it's own way, it can create some funky vibes.
I find nexus really good for big EDM sounds, it also covers a wide variety of types of sounds (unlike sylenth) which is why I use it more.
To generalise it.
Sylenth1 - Flume
Nexus - Avicci
The Job determines which one I will use

Just keep in mind Arcane, it's not really a synth, it's a rompler with a few controls that reach into the sample itself, but it's sample based and doesn't take any homegrown samples. For this reason I don't own a copy, but my school and work had it. The samples are nice, but again, more tweak-ability would be nice.
Note that I haven't tried Nexus 2.
