I used to have a sweet little high string sample, I dont anymore.
I'd like one again.
If anyone feels like sharing id appreciate it.

My theory isnt great. Maybe C, as its in the middle? The sample I had I could move up & down in the FL piano roll and fit it to what I was doing. It was a great sample, and had a subtle distortion to it, like maybe it was sampled from vinyl.

Im not looking for the same sample, just something like it, suprisingly hard to find a straight sustained string...

i made you a c note about 5 seconds each in 6 octaves
it really is hard to find a legit string sample out there without it sounding too synthetic or weird

I think you would like physical modelling synths they are good at making convincing strings (or just layer it with a real sustained string sound)
