Intense Records will be holding a special in store day for Record Store Day open from 9am-6pm, with live Djs, special guests appearances & local artists performing unreleased material plus competitions, free giveaways and a chance to win some of the RSD exclusive products in the Intense raffle. Our first special guest is Alix Perez from Exit & Shogun Records who will be appearing live in the shop for an exclusive mix to promote his record store day release courtesy of the Unreleased Vinyl Project. The ‘Unreleased Vinyl Project’ is a brand new record label breaking the rules and fighting back against the digital revolution. UVP will be releasing exclusive tracks on vinyl that were formerly only available to download. The first release features 2 remixes from the acclaimed drum & bass producers dBridge and Alix Perez from Exit & Shogun Audio, which both have already received great support. Following the Record Store Day celebrations at the Intense Record Shop we will be continuing the party at ‘The Loop’ bar in Chelmsford. With 2 floors of music this is a perfect opportunity to showcase all the music and styles available on the day.
We are also lucky to have the official launch party of the 'Unreleased Vinyl Project' a new label dedicated to releasing sought after and previously unavailable on vinyl tracks. The first release features an Alix Perez remix of Submotion Orchestra's 'Its Not Me Its You' and on the flip , Planas feat. Ed Thomas - 'Breathtaking' (dBridge Soul Steppers Mix).
