That's a badass article... I've posted it to a few websites I post at, where they don't know about Dubstep other than what I have told them.

The writer does a good job of describing the space that Dubstep takes up in a club... you feel as if that bass is just smothering that ass. Proper write up!

I <3 this quote:
The music is called dubstep, and if you’ve ever worshipped at a club’s temple of boom, its bone-shaking low end will leave you an instant convert.

First there’s a rhythm, bluntly syncopated. Threaded between the scraping high-hat and stomping kick drum, a conga taps palsied Morse code. A disembodied Jamaican voice oozes pure dread. The club is thick with bodies and blunt smoke. There’s a millisecond of silence, a pause for breath. And then the bass drops. Chests tighten. Spines shudder. Teeth vibrate

Thanks for the good words everyone.....I'm very happy with this article. My mom loves it....friends are down....even my co-workers are into it.

I've had more than a few people tell me the following: "Joe, i was [drinking coffee / eating breakfast / on the treadmill] this morning and i read your article in the city Paper....Great stuff !!"

This is one for the scrapbook......
