Cubase 5 Problem - Shift key to 'hold' automation value?

				Hey all,
A bit stuck for this because I don't know what the term is called exactly, but recently I had to reinstall Cubase 5 because I got an SSD for my OS and I'm encountering an issue;
I used to be able to open an Automation Lane on any VST/Audio channel, select an automation point and then hold the Shift key to drag that value along the timeline without moving the point vertically but I can't seem to do that anymore and I'm not sure what I'm missing... I don't remember editing anything to make this occur before but I know it's a setting somewhere I just can't figure out where exactly... Can anyone help a brother out? There's a Big Up in it for you if you can
