Anyone know how to recreate thesnare used in all the Barely Alive songs?
It is the same as Dead Link, the remix of Hollow Point, Cyber Bully, Blow Kiss Rifle, etc ...
It's like a "badge" of his style.
Long ago'm trying, and I could use any help nicely ...
Thanks, and I hope your help!

Their snares are modeled after one of my snares, and all of my snares are built on the same 3 principles; a strong transient, a short snappy body and a tail of some sort. I've posted numerous descriptions of how I make snares, if you're interested in reading them :)

To me it sounds like they make the harmonics around 700-1000hz louder than I usually do, resulting in what I like to think of as a more 'wooden' sound. The 909 snares have this harmonic around 700hz, aswell as a clean body around 200hz, so they're a great starting point when making these types of snares :)

No dude this is actually the snare in Dead Link, its from Barely Alive's goodie pack that they gave away in one of their streams.

Blink can you explain a way to create the snare from only using 909s? It would mean a lot to me since I forgot of how to create snares :(
