I read this short story by Kundera…
and It was about a couple on a road trip…
and at some point in the journey they start pretending
like the guy has picked up this random hitchhiker girl…

and it turns into a sexual escapade…hate fuck sorta thing

and I think they end up breaking up afterwards
because they get completely turned off by the fact…
that each other knows how to be - that hated other person…

or maybe they don't break up
- but they are in really bad mood after the thing…

...as if they had cheated and were disappointed…

I once knew this very nerdy girl, let's call her G

I was sitting on a park bench chatting to G once. She told me this whole story about why she didn't like threesomes. She said how this other girl she knew had agreed to have a threesome with her boyfriend and yet another girl, a mutual friend of theirs. is it alluding to The Lovely Duvet's embarrassment at her initial post's intimacy
being disguised by a reference to small talk?
for me, conversations about sex can never be small talk
(unless this is a conversation about sex)
because sex is only talked about when there's some level of disatisfaction & thus an issue of contention or negotiation
(otherwise it is gotten on with it)

so, I guess I'm saying that this thread would more honestly monickered "sexual disatisfaction"
upon which topic I'd like to explore the idea of whether some sane humans can enjoy being forced to have sex
i.e. their unwillingness to have sex is less a priority than their enjoyment of being overpowered.
sounds scary to me but definitely possible in a character who is inclined to surrender or crave the oblivion of no control
