Dubstep music videos

Post by once caldas » Fri Apr 14, 2006 1:47 pm

I was just watching a video for Boards of Canada's "Dayvan Cowboy" and it got me thinking about whether there were any short film-makers or other artists out there who've experimented with making visuals or short films to dubstep tracks? I've heard about Mala's project of making a 30 minute long short film with a DMZ soundtrack but I was wondering if anyone's done something shorter for individual tracks, like, say, 'Goat Stare'? Or have there been any dubstep events where ppl have used live visuals?

just peicing together film at the mo-about dubstep and grime in the north of england--be on the net soon

features individual music videos and interviews and nights out

most of the music video's in the documentary are done with vegas pro or premier and the artists have just messed with images that they recorded on dvd cam or at lmu in leeds

I ought to come down to Bristol by the sound of it then. Only real exposure of live dubstep has been DMZ Leeds.

And I know theres not really a market for videos but I was thinking more of ppl doing it more for fun rather than MTV.

And looking forward to seeing your film, 8 bit.
