So the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers bill got its royal steal of approval, or to be acctutre it got Royal Assent a few days ago. This bill when from bill to law in around a week through the emergency procedure, even thought there wasn't one. EU ruling about mass surveillance didn't go down well. It's bullshit, fucking obvious sneaky one. It can be repealed but it'll take years now, I think this government thinks there's a likely chance of a shitstorm at this election
