Ah. Tried asking a lecturer for some help/advice? A quick email might point you in the right direction.

It gives you some pretty good starting points in the brief. Come up with a plan before starting to actually work on the app. Get a pen and a sketch pad and brainstorm how you'd like it to look/operate/sound based on the criteria they've given you. Then run that past your tutor and just ask them what would be the best platform to build it on.

Maybe take some inspiration from some other apps in the app store. Loads of free drum machines on there. Just write down what you like about them, and what you'd improve, and what you dislike.

Obvs keep it simple. You won't get full marks for a resit, so just do a passable job.

yeah nice one for the reply

tbf though im not too bothered about how it works, or what it looks like etc, i just need to hit every bit of the criteria

my problem is i have no idea how to make it using code lol like no idea whatsoever

i do a music course and kinda just gave up on that module. its sooooooo long

imagine creating this for agent, taking your hundred, then watching powerlessly as he becomes a millionaire off your innovation

:?

TBH, it sounds like you're really hoping it doesn't work out and you get set free from the obligations of Uni. Maybe I'm wrong though.

However, on the off chance you really are serious - this is about as cookiecutter as it gets, provided you don't get grilled too hard on the particulars of 'your' source code.

http://makeaudioapps.com

There's literally a project file that you can download for an existing drum machine app (like, already on the App Store).

If this is too much, you really should strike out on your own man.

this is not the worst idea. for one of my college programming projects i handed in something that was largely code that someone else had written and i bought off him for a case of beer. $18 well spent.

did rewrite a couple of his modules though to purposely put some specific errors. accompanying documentation then wrote itself as i had a v1.1 bug testing section that i could 'fix' the bugs i'd put in myself. got extra credit for troubleshooting my own program.

im just gonna try and do it lol

those sites that do it for you will make the code to good

its only spose to be simple

a welcome menu > 6 drum sounds > a page where you can change the volume and edit the sounds slightly

if i use one of them already built drum machine the code will be way better than what we're spose to know i reckon
