every time I watch one of these modular videos, i get excited and think im going to hear some amazing crazy sound.... and every time i leave disappointed.... I guess i just dont get it. I cant even imagine how much time and money went into that setup

So basically what i've learn from watching the two videos above is, to get any sort of decent sound out of a modular synth you need to have a lot of free time on you hands. I like hardware just as much as anyone else, but never really been interested in modular synth's.
