sampling sister nancy its not that bad, its such a good idea.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

If this was a regular release it would be hard to sell.

(obviously i dont know how it will sell anyway, but still...)

Yeah War 001 was really good, im suprised no one has done some kind of refix type business on Sizzla - Rise to the occasion surely one of the closest original beats to certain dubstep producers own styles.

War sucked.

I dont get these half arse "loop a reggae tune with an out of place wobble" tunes...

I was lovin the sample but then it was just a crap synth sound underneath it, and that was it...

this one kinda seems like a saving grace for the dj who isn't doing such a great job at keeping the crowd's attention.

"whoa... I know this song! and... it's different! let's dance!"

Sums it up.

I guess it's decent for being a straight-forward wobbler though.

tune's been sampled to death, hard to make it sound good without really doing something to the track, and unfortunately this one doesn't bring much new to the table.

I picked it up, it is so basic that I thought I could just turn the lows down and rinse the vocals over whatever track I wanted, then mix something else in. Love that sample.

Btw- my WAR001 warped a long time ago, and even though I have wanted to replace it, I think the hype for it was a bit much... unless it has a repress I would think otherwise to pick it up.. 30 quid? jesus.

What?

War wasn't even wobble. And to be fair, it is just a re-edit really, not a full on "new tune". it is also stupidly weighty.

You might not have liked it, but it certainly didn't suck.

Still, I know what your getting at about wobble under reggae loop tunes, there does seem to be quite a few of em about, and I don't find them wildly thrilling for the most part.
