I used to give a shit ton of advice on here and get paid to do video series for ADSR or whatever it's called https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... ssive+adsr have fun with those videos.
All you guys looking for exact patches or answers... fuck off. Experiment and tear apart the presets in your vsts or hardware synths.
This board is not meant to be how do i replicate current sound producers shit.
This board is meant to make you guys understand synthesis, what diff effect processing does and the diff chains to start.
Maybe you'll learn mics and how to record or PA rigs.
My life is going well i have a room just for audio and I'm just making trap on an mpc4000 i saved for, just dont be assholes and write out your goals and dont clutter this board for basic shit like a reese or hoover

More production workthroughs on how you've made certain songs!
More discussion of weird old computers used in your production process!
More cat pictures!

Your attitude stinks. I think you should go elsewhere if you don't like people asking questions or "cluttering the board up".

I mean just look at this board:
How do you know when a tune is finished?
How do you start each track off?
^those two, like u wot m7
FL Studio Mods ( like videogame !)
Skrillex, Zomboy, Filthzilla etc. Snares
Skrillex Ragga Bomb
Skrillex - Fire Away drums?
Skrillex - Recess (Milo & Otis remix) sound
very common High Pitched lead
That's just the first page. What we are supposed to see here are advanced USEFUL production techniques, not trying to copy Skrillex' bass or snare all over again.
For example:
1. To increase the snappiness of your snare without actually increasing its level, use a multiband transient shaper, add attack on the high band, and the most important step: set a hard clip on the same level as your unprocessed snare. You are left with a snare peaking on the same level, but much more snappier.
2. If you want to make your drums sound fuller, put a harmonic exciter on them, use tape saturation, drive the excitement on the highs all the way up, but use low dry/wet. It works. Very well.
etc.

I think that "how do you start a track" and "how do you know when it's finished" are two relevant production questions. I don't think they should be called assholes and told to fuck off by the self important OP.
And your tip isn't exactly advanced and only useful to someone who needs it. No more useful than the two questions above.

Only useful to someone who needs it? >implying there is a song without snare or drums.
Not advanced? If you bring up the topic of harmonic excitement on dsf you get responses like "LOL U NOT A #TRUHEAD WE ONLY EQ KEK"
"How do you start a track?" being a more useful question than my tips? Please get on a level if you want to discuss.

OMG! Do you think that every single person needs your tip? OMG I have to add harmonics to that snare! And that one! And that one! MOAR HARMONICZ BITCH!
Sorry, but you're tip is only useful to someone that needs it, and I don't, so it's rubbish.

Yes.

It was actually about transient shaping, but whatever.

I have no idea what you're trying to say.
Anyhow, you've been here a few days. What makes you think you're qualified to give tips? Please, keep your shoddy advice to yourself.

this thread is literally the perfect example of exactly why I never visit production any more
ps "how do I start a tune" OPEN YOUR DAW AND START A FUCKING TUNE.
i've said it before but production nowadays is so pedantic. people spend so much time worrying about HOW to make music that they never end up making any. just jam the fuck out
