Cheap Dubstep
I am very cheap. VERY cheap. I am so cheap that I use the *completely legal, fully-paid for, non-pirated* edition of FLstudio 5 on the school computer, as I will not spring for logic on my mac. So I was wondering about a few things I could do to make dubstep easier and less painful to produce, as the school computers suck and I have to do work in the computer class.
EDIT:
Also, I still haven't figured out how to bring up any of the things like fruity vocoder or fruity reeverb (any advice?)

Re: Cheap Dubstep
There are some freeware/shareware/open-source trackers and sequencers you could try out. I can't vouch for the quality of them, but I'm sure some are worth a shout.DJelements wrote:I am so cheap that I use the *completely legal, fully-paid for, non-pirated* edition of FLstudio 5 on the school computer, as I will not spring for logic on my mac.
Unless you are shitting out dubstep pineapples, I'm not quite sure what you mean by this.DJelements wrote: less painful to produce
If you mean producing quicker, well the only way that will happen is through practice really. And the "production bible" thread in this forum is worth a read too.
