Lived in Aylesbury pretty much all my days. Got a lot of good mates MK way...Mispent youth raving at Sanctuary (and Rollers

) and Exodus parties all over Beds and Bucks. Good times...spent more time in London over the last 8 years or so...time to move.

i left mk about 9 years ago, thank christ.
i can't imagine dubstep taking off there, in the same way i can't imagine any genre that isn't indie taking off there.
give the place 100 years, it might have a culture by then.
(and anyway, is newport pagnell actually in mk???)

highly doubt it. maybe in the same way that america has a 'culture'

culture or not, u cant brandish all the inhabitants of one town with one opinion
there is cultured heads around the area, which is why nights like this are catering for them
i can see where u are coming from with regard to the typical MK mentality, but there are people around the area that are passionate about Dubstep and wanna help build a scene out here!

yeah sorry im not attacking individuals who live there. just cos a place has no culture doesnt mean that some people who live there cant have taste - as true for milton keynes as it is for america

nothing underground takes off outside the main cities anyways!
its usually about getting the bus/train/car out to your nearest city to get some dubstep action
at least this gives folks the chance to hear some tunes without shelling out £20 just to get the silverlink into the city!
pat on the back for the folks trying to bring big tunes to small places

I wouldn't say that is the case...
MK is pretty bleak but it has played a pretty major part in the history of UK underground music throughout the whole of the 90's purely for the amount of raves that went off at the Sanctuary.
