Good night! Shame it wasn't fuller and the jazz rooms sound was bassier but DMZ played some heavy heavy tunes!

Personally I had a great time and Mystiks played some sick music. I reckon this is just the beginnings of dubstep in Brighton.

pics later, when I recover properly.

It took me back to my dim and distant youth, when I spent unheathily large amounts of time hanging around in sparsely populated hellholes, waiting for some Peel-sponsored band to make it all seem worthwhile. And sometimes, quite often, I'd wonder why the sodding hell I'd bothered; and sometimes, very occasionally, I'd witness history.

Erm, yeah, anyway. I daresay that DMZ veterans might consider it run-of-the-mill, but last night's set absolutely blew me away. Just goddamn perfection, nothing less. Do they have any duff tunes? Every one just seemed to hit the spot, without ever becoming predictable in the process. God only knows what they're like when the crowd's up for it. I intend to find out sharpish.

In the meantime, big up folks for putting those two nights on. Nice one.

I had a really wicked night

Could have done with more heads, but guess thats what happens when you have 2 dubstep nights in a row. We'll be communicating properly in future so that mistake wont happen again!

Anyway enough people so it never felt uncomfortable, and loads of dancin goin on. Respect to everyone for properly havin it for the last hour!!! - I'd kinda figured everyone would piss off after the mystikz finished but nooooo

As for the mystikz - cant put it better than ig: goddamn perfection, nothing less
