Tokyo Dub roll call

Post by rorz9992 » Thu Sep 25, 2014 8:20 pm

Who's reaching?

Set times have now been made available:

There's a fair few DJs I'd like to see whose set times clash with each other, but oh well.
Can't wait for Coki + Kromestar + Commodo!

What a day!

Commodo's set was easily the best I saw.

Coki tore shit up as well.

Kromestar, Tunnidge, Pinch, VIVEK, Sukh Knight all very good as well.

Anyone know the final tune VIVEK played? It was insane.

Feeling a bit worse for wear today m8s

System was too distorted for us to stay there long.

All the other stages sounded great though. A good time was had.

Burritos were tasty.

Depended on where you stood and who was playing imo, the quality of the sound varied throughout the day for the System stage. It sounded shite at the end when Joker was playing but other times sounded pretty good.

RC1 sounded great as per usual. Still my favourite sound system I've ever heard.

Burritos were tasty indeed... £5 for a burger though... what a par

Yeah we kept wandering back to System throughout the day, it was occasionally better but mostly only for tunes with minimal amounts of mids and above.

The RC1s were class. Reggae Roast was sounding really nice too.

yeah wtf is up with viveks system, its gotten louder but sounds really crappy a lot of the time

pretty good day, venue change was a good idea, overall sound and weight was so much more satisfying (came away pretty disappointed because of that last year) feel like they need to make more effort though, grim to look at and bar queues were silly, would probably have been a great day but went out night before

om unit was nice, special request too, commodo was banging as ever

Commodo, Coki and Om-Unit killed it!!
RC1's sounding great as expected. System definitely had it's bad moments, but Morning Glow Dub by LAS sounded so good!!!
Can't believe i had my water taken off me at the entrance and then they ran out of water in the evening?! I was dying with thirst and could only buy booze!
My back and legs still hurt from a full day of skanking though...
