Wellington, NZ's Bassweight Recordings has a goal of steadily establishing itself as one of the classiest and most consistent Dub Labels Around. Set up to Release some of New Zealands Freshest Dub

Spring 2007 Will see the first release Bassweight's first LP, the incredible Foundation Ep Part 1 by P Vans, Rick Dias, Sandman & Kryptic and Detail. It features the massive singles '', 'Respect' (featuring the vocals of Mc Kryptic),'Understand', 'Sleeping Giant' and of course the earth-shattering anthem 'Ghost Pennies'. this album is quite simply essential.

Following the first release, Bassweight Will Be releasing the second half of the Foundation ep, With tunes from RQ, Rick Dias, Sandman, Organikisimness and P vans. Keep your ears peeled for this second release due to drop December/Jan.
