He (Gilles) dropped Jakes - 3kout and Skream - Pass The Red Stripe on his show last week as well.

off topic: am I the only one who thinks everyone pronounces his first name wrong? Gilles with two ls shouldn't be pronounced like "Giles", should it?

Night gettin played by these DJs is fucking fantastic - it's good money & exposure for the artists, label and the scene.

I've never listened to his radio show in my life. I don't even know what he looks like or what he plays on his radio.

Couldn't give two hoots, if he's playing Night then that's alright by me.


Like I say, it's money and promotion for Benga, Coki and Tempa, and the wider scene as a result - I think the exposure will most likely invite the mainstream to look for more dubstep artists to play (and possible sign), which imo could be a very good thing.
