Audio Technica AT-LP120
I'm thinking about getting one of these in near future, has someone tried these? Would you recommend them or something else around the price point?
I think i saw someone on here saying he's got a pair, i'd like to hear any experiene you guys got.

I've had a pair of these. They are alright, but the torque is pretty weak for mixing. Makes mixing a lot harder than proper technics. Still very usable turntables though.

In theory, if you could mix on decks with low torgue, would you find the step up to technics easier?

I remember trying to mix on some belt driven turntables. fuck that shit. tought me to pitchride though.

the turntables are good value for money, but you might wanna invest in some used 12x0s anyway. they're easy to come by and there are still great deals floating around if you do a bit of digging. easy maintenance and you just know they won't break down, ever - unless you actively break them.
