konichi - field of vibration synth

hey there,
i wonder if anyone knows, how to achieve the sound, konichi uses in his track "field of vibrations"
here it is:


take a look at the synth at 32 seconds.
i like those gritty crunchy basses but everytime i try to create them with massive for example,
i try to bring the levels of a simple saw down so this flappy effect comes.. but then all the highs are blown away...

any advice?
