Hey Guys,

So it is me again And my question is if someone of you Guys know how to make this kinda down pitching formant (???) bass/lead thing I tried to remake this sound with massive and the formant mode but it just sounded too formanty (obviously) I would really appreciate any kind of help from you Guys because I just cant get even close to this sound

It is the first sound in the Drop (at around 1:24)

Closest tutorial I found, then you have to work yourself to get the exact sound, but it seems to be a good start

To be honest, I'd go with Labco's tutorial of this sound

They both get the basics, but there is a part of processing missing to get closer I think

I didnt asked for the main synth I asked for the "Growl" there is a formant kinda think "above" the growl which makes it sound kinda pitch down sorry dor the miss understanding

Oh my bad dude. We all thought you meant the main one because of the thread's title is kinda misleading for what you was asking and you should've just put "Zomboy - Where we belong growl bass" or something.

Anyways, to me it doesn't sound like massive and it could possibly be FM8 maybe? or some really good sound design in massive with macros. Sounds to me like a square with maybe groan or A.I?

nw man I know it is kinda missleading but I dont search for the Growl I search for that kinda "formanty" lead thing that is layerd over the Growl, its kinda pitching down with the growl (hard to explain :c) if you listen closely you can hear it. You can hear a smilliar sound (or the same I dont know) in the same remix at 1:27 but this time it pitches up and at 1:28 it pitches down again thats what I mean. I Hope you Guys know what I mean now sorry that my posts are so missleading :/
