Brostep still has a LOT of potential to be popular... It's just that most teens only hear of skrillex and have no way to discover other much better artists like xkore, jphelpz, or d-jhasta.

With melodies/hooks in mind (shit that matters to 95% of the people), I think we can agree on that Skrillex is a lot more talented than most other brostep artists. Like many others, he has moved on from brostep and jumped on the edm trap wagon at least for a moment tho...

No that's just bounced audio. U have to sample something from existing work for it to be a sample.

Alot of midrange basslines are sample based tbh. I know a couple of popular brosteppers who just used samples instead of using vsts.
