im not one to get into DAW arguments, but I started on FL, moved to ableton, now when I see homies working in FL it makes me want to hit my head against a wall. It seems soo clunky.

love Geist vst. It can feel like hardware but give you all the speed and shortcuts of software.

I really dig the Mac Miller one, but that's probably because I'm an American hip-hop enthusiast stoner. :6:

But, there is an audio editor "in" Ableton. Any edit you would want to make to an audio clip is insanely easy in Live. Plus there's a really powerful sampler that's also very easy to use.

I might be confused as to what you define as an "audio editor" tho; its a very loose term imo.

So, please elaborate gran-pappy SJ. I'm genuinely interested in some sort of audio editing I might be missing out on*.

*I've been looking into deeper samplers/editors lately but I've not found anything that makes me want to ditch the built in stuff with ableton so far. They mainly seem to just emulate drum machines or MPC style workflow which is fun but not necessarily more 'powerful' for me.

P.S I was slightly offended by your patronizing response earlier, I thought we were past that :corncry:

There are several... Forgot what I was writing about.

Oh yeah , there are several 10 minute type shows , rhythm roulette is a different concept, and to my mind far more interesting. 10 minutes is just too hectic, the music that is made sucks, but rr beats are almost always dope, and you really get to see how people work (effectively).

You were trying to get us to do beat the clock but I think we should do rr I'd be down.
