Winter Music Conference '08

Maybe this is a little premature, and i know schedules haven't been released yet but the dates have been announced. Can anyone leak any info, confirmed or not, that we'll be seeing some Dubstep talent around those parts during that time?

i'll have info posted here and on my forum as soon as i get it.
it is a bit early, but i suspect by January we should have a pretty solid idea of what to expect.
i can tell you know that Laundry Bar will have a dubstep showcase of some sort and my crew and myself are also working on something of our own!

Dubstep forum members should be able to get on the list early for these shows. Will be reaching and don't want to have to settle for some shit Deep House on day 3 of no sleep.

Laundry Bar is coming strong this year...keep an eye/ear out for more info as we get closer to the actual WMC dates. But rest assured, dubstep will be properly represented @ WMC 2008.

Nice gesture, but WMC is a bit longer than one night. Hell, one night at WMC consists of several clubs/parties

it might be a lil much to ask for multiple dubstep parties per evening since this will be the first year where the genre is seriously featured but you never know there could be a chill pool party deal at some hotel in the afternoon and a huge FFW type event that night

remember that wmc this year is only thurs to sun. it's not a ten day thing anymore. those days are over.
look at hotels like right now, because you're not going to find very much on ocean or collins for under $150 for a single and under $200 for a double. THE most frustrating thing about miami during conference is the stupid price gouging they do during that week. so stupid. if they just calmed down their pricing as they do for normal weekends, they'd get double the amount of people coming down.

hotel prices are THE reason i'm not going
i've been asked to play and represent Gritsy/South3rn but i just can't validate spending that much for a 2-3 day trip

can't wait to hit up willies and the abbey once more for pregame.
it gets mad crowded down there for wmc, especially with the ultra fest kids (i think i just heard the collective forum's stomachs churn at once) taking their rave to the streets.
time to dodge glowstix, fellas!
it's gonna be a rowdy time. come early, stay way past sunrise.
