I don't know about mine but
Mine would include the 2.5 Terabyte External Hard Drive (just so you know, a GB is 1000MB. A terabyte is 1000 GB)!

And a PC with Windows XP, 8GB RAM.
Reason, Cubase, And another Terabyte hard drive Full of samples. Most of them drums, like really strengthy drums. Don't forget about 0.75 TB of voice samples.

And don't forget LOADS OF SUBWOOFERS SURROUNDING A LARGE ROOM!

Has anyone ACTUALLY got a 1TB External Hard Drive?
Nuff said.
Nobody.

I love the way you keep posting production threads in this main forum...and then they get moved to production....then you assume they've been deleted and don't post in them again....but, then you mis post yet another in here.

;)

My studio is almost perfect. All I'd like now is an isolated vocal booth and space for a couch. Maybe a little space for making tea.

all I need is to get my video production up to snuff again after the burglary and then I will be operating at 100% (including couch)

ps: put a bid in on ebay for the camera I had lost, so hopefully I'll have that sorted out in about a week!

Fuck your terabytes. Get a DVD burner and a stack of blank discs for an eighth of the price.

And solid state is the future.

No hd crashes when the drive head machetes it's way through the disc. No noisy fans, no moving parts at all in fact. NO LOAD TIMES :o The future.

Definitly a factor which is overlooked way to often, I don't know how well I would cope without easy access to a cup of tea!

Here's the dream studio: http://www.solid-state-logic.com/shed/ :o

Now, imagine you are Hansel (of Hansel and Gretel fame), and you've lost your breadcrumbs and wind up in the middle of the woods and come 'pon this badboy. The wicked witch who should cook you, however, is simply a staggeringly beautiful, welcoming woman (or man, whatever you are into) who not only serves up top notch nosh, but whose main hobby is engineering dubstep tracks.....ahhhhhhhhh....... 8) :D

a dream studio?

two room space, acoustically treated mixing studio plus a good room for recording
i'd get a decent mixing console, pro tools with a couple of interfaces, ableton live, reaktor, some free vst, loads of analog equipment and some new digital synth/drum machines, acoustic instruments (piano, accordian, strings etc. you name it), good microphones (rode, akg etc), few racks full of outboard fx, compressors & limiters, a 16-track reel, some dynaudio and genelec monitors plus some reference speakers plus a good sub or two and a decent couch

plus some stuff i forgot. i wish i had 100 000 euros
