Do y'all think I should invest in CDJ's and start doing live shows to get some of my music out there or what? Did it work for you if you did it? Or should I just stick with trying to get my music out via promo channels etc.?

Well I live in New Orleans. I've never had a reason to go down to the clubs or anything like that because I just now turned 21. Maybe I should just go check it out. I know there's one club that is an electronic music club but that's it.

Yeah this would generally be positive, but shit is well competitive here in
Amsterdam. Not that I'm really putting a lot of effort in.. there's just
a ton of DJ's around. Good ones too.
You should only start DJing if you like mixing records. Simple really.

Look, Hulk Hogan is trying to give him a demo tape but alas, Steve on plays on Serato and CDJ's. The Hulk is out of luck but it is of no consequence. Steve is too busy mucking about than to actually do any DJ'ing.

Burial would be unknown if it wasn't for the support of Kode9 though.
If ya not a "DJ" and you want to be 'famous' you need some homies/connections in high up places with some influence.
I would worry more about ya productions than anything else, make music and dun think about the other bullshit imo

Chad, you've got skills, and beautiful beautiful hair, but I've never heard anything original out of you, just imitating styles and what not. Think it is time for you to start making your own music.
