				I have to agree here.
And...
Easy with the pitch-bend.

I have a feeling that whatever the dissenters say, these " clowny " tunes will smash the dancefloor anyway.

I don't think really think is a problem. Not yet at least.
But hearing a certain bootleg of a certain jungle anthem getting a rewind at DMZ on Saturday didn't really make me jump with joy.
No worries, I'm not getting all elitist on you, this is enough for now.

yea theres still so much good stuff out there that its not a problem or anything- i just think people need a reminder that that style is what killed dnb for a lot of people and deserves a notice. history repeats itself...

I dunno, I never like posting in these kinds of threads but I am in a bad mood anyway and I think I'll post in this one.
There have been a LOT of these sorts of discussions on this forum recently. Damn, they're not even discussions, they're just people bitching.
Sure, a bit of chat about the scene and the music is a good thing and goes a long way - but seriously, do we need x amount of threads all saying 'wobble is shit', 'dubstep has got samey', 'dubstep is boring now' and so on?
The fact is, the scene has exploded in the last year. OF COURSE THE MUSIC WILL BE AFFECTED - for all the reasons that have already been stated by many others.
The trick is for each of us to take responsibility for making dubstep what we want it to be - as individuals. Dubstep belongs to all of us in different ways. We all hear it differently. We all have our own tastes.
What is stopping the complainers from searching harder for tunes that excite them? Or seeking out nights with interesting lineups (how many of you complainers have been to Platform 1 or DOTS?). Or even making your own tunes or putting your own nights on?
And before you say it, I'm not saying we all have to love everything that comes out and listen uncritically to dubstep. I'm just saying take a bit of responsibility and make dubstep what you want it to be rather than posting unhelpful threads on the forum.
This post isn't directed at any individuals in particular - I'm not calling anybody out. It's just a general statement.
Anyway.

I'm all for dancefloor bangers from the likes of Rusko and Skream, as long as they add something to the mix, not just rehash old sounds.

its true in what you your saying bro but how are people going to hear new tunes when most people are pushing the same music and most of the nights that are going on all have the same djs there there playing the same sound rewinding the same tunes about a million times

Well I wouldnt say its THAT BAD..... plenty of nights now where you don't hear the "same tunes". Platform 1, DOTS, Dubstep Changed My Life, etc etc..

how about theres too much bass in dubstep
and too much dub
not to mention that god awful steppin!
lets get rid of all that
rename it with a symbol (a la prince)
and start a new forum

not happy with it then dont buy it
when it comes on in the club leave the dancefloor
market forces will take care of the rest
