me and a mate are concidering building our own soundsystem

We're looking around for the ingredients we might need for this at the moment. So if any one has done this or has any advice, let us know.

With dubstep in mind of course.

My first bit of advice would be do it! Ive built my own soundsystem (see picture) with a mate and its a lot of fun to build and use. What you can do is limited mostly by money, then your carpentery skills, then your imagination. Do you have any sort of idea what your budget is? I could give you an idea of what you can get/build for the money and point you in the right direction in terms of what sort of gear u want for pounding out dubstep.

definately go to speakerplans.com as djake suggested, its got to be one of the best forums to do with building ur own rig.

all depends how much money you have! www.squatjuice.com might be good for you. There are alot of people on there who have build rigs of all shapes and sizes.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.
