That isn't the 1st ever flyer, it's the first flyer for the Plastic People chapter after the move from Velvet Room if my memory serves me correctly.

Hatcha's still got the original prototype on his trophy wall.

I seem to remember Dave and Sefton (Phuturistix) playing the last set.... I'd never heard half those tunes before - i left feeling baffled as to where that music had come from.... I mean its wierd to live in London and hear a whole scene that you were unaware of.

I dont think the stantons ever played Fwd......

Nah Tim, I definitely definitely remember Jayda's Ghost set ending the very first FWD>>. He started with his personal intro VIP "Jaydaflex da wickedest..." made for him by El-B.

dont think Stantons ever played FWD either - it was a good idea after the first Stanton Sessions CD but then they started pandering to the Fabric/breaks audience then and ignoring their garage roots.

I also remember Slimzee and Maxwell D in the early days, before there was the word 'grime.' then again FWD>> started before the word 'dubstep' ... by quite a few years!

it was all called 'the Forward>> sound' back then ie the three elements: dark garage/dubstep + breakbeat garage + pre grime
