anyone seen that mochilla film, brasil in time.. cut chemist + friends go to brazil and some mad scratch/funk/hip-hop routine with some of the local percussion legends.

Got to be Clyde Stubblefield from the JB's - was listening to that "In the Jungle Groove" - still none finer.
Have to agree about Stewart Copeland though, can't beat that loose, intricate feel.
Had to look the name up but the drummer from the Beat, Everett Moreton is amazing too. Check out Twist and Crawl, and Mirror in the Bathroom.

Anyone heard Miles Davis - On The Corner LP? Dunno who the drummer is but the geezers fuckin sick, The albums about 50 minutes of jammin non stop and its seriously ongy bongy bizniz, Congas, tablas loadsa african influences, Check it.
