Yeah not sure if you guys saw that thing about Benny boy lying about Iran being "one year away from developing nuclear weapons" (they've been one year away for like a decade now ffs)

But also I agree with dickman. To me it seems that Iran is the most stabile, safe, modern, rational, etc LARGE country (obvs those small countries like uae got it goin on) in the region. I definitely think the way forward for stabilization or reform if you really want to go there must involve Iran and really they should be at the center of it. In other words I think the west should place more eggs ($) in that basket and less in Saudi Arabia if we truly want to help. Though I suppose oil is the reason why this doesn't happen

But tbh a more serious answer would be that even these notions of stable and un-stable and the concepts of neo -terrorism are all measures we as the west have established in the midst of this crazy collective car fuel hoardering business - that people call international politics.
